摘要
The genus Peperomia is a part of the Piperaceae family, distributed mainly in tropic and subtropic zone. There are nine species of the genus Peperomia grown in China; most of them are used as folk herbs for the treatment of arthritis, tumor, etc. Peperomia cavaleriei C. DC. is distributed in Southwest China, such as Guangxi, Guizhou, and Yunnan Provinces, and is usually used as medicinal plants for the treatment of eczema [1]. Various compounds have been isolated from the genus Peperomia (Piperaceae), including lignans, flavonoids, alkaloids, polyketides, etc. [2, 3], but no chemical constituents have been reported on the title plant before. As part of our studies on traditional Chinese medicine for screening active constituents from herbs, we first investigated its constituents and isolated 12 secondary metabolites.
